I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location by Lake Thun in Spiez is absolutely stunning and the breakfast was quite good. However, the service left much to be desired, as there were times when no one was at the front desk to assist guests, and the room was cramped and could be cleaner. Despite these issues, the beautiful views made it a memorable stay.

However, the room I stayed in was rather small and lacked some essential comforts, making it feel cramped. The location is fantastic right on the lake, but the rooms were quite small, and I had trouble with hot water during my showers. On the positive side, the Italian restaurant attached is excellent, and the breakfast offerings were great. Given the price, I expected better value for money.
